Industrial Access Systems Ltd can provide access requirements from 1m to 100m. We have a fleet of specialised tracked Spider Boom Lifts that operate from 15m to 23m for indoor and outdoor usethat can get into places that standart Booms and scissor lifts cannot. Having won a magor contract we a looking to recruit 2 apprentices who will learn on the job and be part of this fantistic contract. We are also an accredited IPAF training Centre and can offer multiple courses for working at height. We have also been an accredited IPAF Rental + Bronze for the past 3 years and are aiming for silver for our next audit. We are a small team of 5 (2 office based one instructor for IPAF and maintenance and 2 operators/maintenance) and lookking to expand our workforce to help with the contract that we have been awarded. Complying with statutory regulations & safety requirements Following Company Health & Safety at all times Operating 1b MEWPS (spider Booms) Handover of MEWPS to Customers (once trained to IPAF Demonstrator level) Carry out Pre Delivery Inspections (PDI) of MEWPS before and after hire Washing down and maintaining MEWPS Using and interpreting engineering data and documentation Working effectively in an engineering environment Handing over and confirming completion of maintenance jobs and activities Maintaining mechanical equipment & MEWPS General warehouse duties and keeping warehouse clean and tidy Any other duties as directed by Line Manager Working towards Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship you will have regular assessments and reveiws for theory and practical and carry out your training with GTG Training and in our workshop to acheive all parts of your apprenticeship. The Modern Apprenticeship allows you tow rk full time and learn new skills when working. In addition to the Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship we will carry out IPAF training on 3 categories of MEWPS (1b, 3a & 3b) to operator level and advance onto Demonstrator level which will allow tou to operate and then also handover MEWPS to hire customers

We are looking for someone who has recently left school (aged 16 - 19) and looking for a carreer path in the access industry. to complete Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship over 2 years and learn skills as they train and also work along side our experienced operators and engineers.
We are looking for candidates who are keen to learn with a good work ethic who are looking for an opportunity to learn while they work We are looking for 2 apprentices who are reliable, dilligent, punctual with a good eye for detail and who has a "can do and will do attitude" and are also hard working and willing to learn new skills
No formal qualifications required but the willingness to carry out the 2 year apprenticeship is essential
Hours of work Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm with half hour lunch break
