Contracted to deliver Modern Apprenticeship training throughout Scotland, we have clients ranging from Blue Chip Organisations, public and private sector. Contracted to deliver Modern Apprenticeship training throughout Scotland, we are looking for an experienced recruiter to join our team. Experience and knowledge of funding and delivery of apprenticeships in Scotland would be desirable. The role will involve matching school/college leavers with our Modern Apprenticeship vacancies, shortlisting for employers and onboarding onto the apprenticeship programme. The role will also include promoting our Modern Apprenticeships to employers and offer upskill qualifications to employed staff, helping employers to identify and create Modern Apprenticeship roles within their organisations. We are looking to expand our service offer in the coming years and the role would include bringing in new business and clients. You will work closely with schools, employability providers and Developing the young Workforce to attract suitable candidates onto our programmes and to present to employers for their potential apprenticeship vacancies.
• Identifying employers who want to enrol employees onto apprenticeships. • Matching school college leavers to Modern Apprenticeship opportunities. • Advertising vacancies onto recruitment sites and social media • Sourcing and CV sifting to identify candidates. • Diary management of interviews • Pre screening candidates • Liaising with employers and setting up interviews • Communicating with Employability providers and schools • Identifying up skill and vacancy opportunities with SME and Blue-Chip organisations.
Knowledge of Modern Apprenticeships and funding is desirable, excellent IT skills are essential, strong customer service and communication skills are also essential.
Familiar with Microsoft apps and good IT skills Strong customer service and communication skills Can manage own workload and work autonomously. Self-driven and sets own targets. Good organisational skills
Familiar with funding in Scotland, experience in recruitment, apprenticeships or employability training
Must have car and valid license
