Hurry Bros is a family run business providing glass products to domestic and commercial markets for over 6 decades. Operating from our factory in the East end of Glasgow, Hurry Bros offers a fully bespoke glass service from design to installation using the latest technology and processes. We are a small business employing 21 loyal and long serving members of staff mostly in the factory cutting and processing glass and fitters installing glass in homes and businesses across the central belt.

Job Description

MA glazing apprentice required to be trained in installation of glass products. Successful candidate will work alongside our glass fitters to learn how to accurately measure and install glass in commercial and domestic premises.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include: Measuring for glass products in domestic and commercial premises Producing diagrams/templates for factory staff Installing glass products in quality manner Working to health and safety requirements Communicating with office staff and factory to ensure customer requirements are understood

Experience and Knowledge

Desirable: Experience of working in a team Customer service skills Communication skills

Education, Qualifications and Training

Ideally some basic health and safety training Commitment to completing 2 year apprenticeship
