To learn and provide administrative and clerical support to the Housing Services team as required.
To work towards completing the CIH Level 2 and the SVQ Level 2 in Housing.
Housing Services
• Provide Clerical and Admin support to Housing Manager and the
Housing Services team.
• Provide and input statistical information for reports and monitoring
information
• Prepare correspondence for distribution
Reception / Customer Services
• Greet Customers in a professional and courteous manner and direct
their enquiry as necessary
• Provide cover at reception as necessary
• Deal with enquiries both in person and by telephone in line with our
Customer Care Policy and target response times.
• Distribute mail as required.
General
• Work towards the completion of the CIH and SVQ
• Maintain appropriate filing systems within departments
• Provide efficient word processing service, including letters, reports
minutes
• Comply with the Association’s Health and Safety Policy
• Carry out any other duties as appropriate to the apprenticeship
As this is an entry level position the following skills are desirable:
• Numerate
• Proficient I.T skills and competent in the use of Microsoft Office
• Good Telephone skills
• Ability to work on own and part of a team
• Good organisational skills
