Engage with a comprehensive training programme to work towards:
Delivering an inclusive and diverse Early Learning and Childcare Service that protects and cares for children
Delivering a service that promotes social justice and anti-discrimination
Delivering an Early Learning and Childcare Service which is broad and balanced
Delivering the curriculum appropriately and effectively
Working as part of a team in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders
Developing and implementing plans and programmes to ensure the needs of all service users are being met

Social Services Children and Young People
Experiential Play
Glasgow City Council, Education, Early Learning and Childcare Service provides early learning and childcare provision to children aged 0-5 years within a variety of childcare settings namely Nursery classes, Nursery schools and Extended Day Establishments (110 of).
Nat 5 Literacy units is essential and NAT 5 English at grade C or above is desirable. Foundation Apprenticeship Social Services Children & Young People (Level 2) is also desirable.
Any work experience gained within a nursery would be beneficial
Applicant must be prepared to engage in training, which meets the appropriate qualifications to register with the Scottish Social Services Council as an Early Years practitioner.
