DUE TO FUNDING CRITERIA, THIS VACANCY IS AVAILABLE TO THE FOLLOWING: 16-19 YEAR OLDS 20-29 YEAR OLDS WITH A DISABILITY 20-29 YEAR OLDS WHO ARE CARE EXPERIENCED Successful applicants will be given full support throughout their apprenticeship and are expected to adhere to existing work practices, methods, procedures and undertake relevant training and development activities, as well as carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as directed by Supervisors. You are expected to adhere to City Building’s Health and Safety Policy at all times.
To learn and adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities. To undertake and achieve SCQF Level 6/7 and Professional Development Award applicable to trade. To be involved in the full range of construction activities including new build, refurbishment and repairs and maintenance. Adhere to City Building’s Health and Safety Policy. To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisors.

All candidates must be able to work at heights. Colour vision test is required to be undertaken and passed. Please highlight any colour vision defects at application stage. All candidates must carry out a numeracy and literacy test as part of the recruitment process. Any holidays should be highlighted at the earliest opportunity. If you are unavailable for testing or interview due to holidays, there is no guarantee that you can be rearranged.
