At BLOND, we are looking for a Junior Hair Stylist to join our friendly, talented team of colour specialists! At BLOND we promote a happy working environment and we want everyone working with us to enjoy their jobs from start to finish! Whilst keeping our client's experience at the heart of what we do. You'll be working with a successful team of hair stylists, all with different specialisms. A great way to expand your horizons and learn more about colour as the learning never stops! In addition we have monthly nights out for everyone to let their own hair down (for once!).

Job Description

We are looking for someone who wants to start their journey as a hairdresser, or is in the middle of their apprenticeship training to be a hairdresser! Salary is depending on experience as we look for someone with either salon experience or just being passionate to learn about hair! You'll be spending one day every 2 weeks at college.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting Stylists (We don't expect someone who is completely new to hairdressing to be able to offer these services straight away - but we'll be training you so that you can!) Washing Clients Hair Blow-Drying/Styling Toning Foiling Ripping Foil Mixing Colours/Bleach Reception & Salon Duties: Answering the phone and communicating clearly with clients Regularly maintain a clean salon Cleaning hair stations after each client has left Monitoring online diary at reception Welcoming clients and offering teas/coffees Helping with stock checks

Experience and Knowledge

Salon experience is preferred, but no essential! We welcome anyone passionate about hair to apply for the role.
