Job Description and Key Responsibilities

Working a FOUR DAY WEEK Monday to Thursday, we require a Joiners Apprentice to join our team.
Your daily role will be to shadow the joiners both on site and in our workshop. You’ll learn all aspects of the joinery trade, specifically related to timber kit and garden room construction. You’ll be taught all aspects of running a clean, tidy, safe site and will be responsible for maintaining standards around all of our builds. You’ll have the opportunity to learn what tools are used in the trade and how to use them safely. When on site, you’ll be shadowing the team to learn how our kits are put together, understand ventilation, window fitting, plasterboarding, working in tandem with other trades such as electricians, painters and landscapers.
Our Anniesland workshop is the base however you will travel in our company vehicles to the build sites, in clients gardens around central Scotland.

Key Skills,Experience & Knowledge

Enthusiasm and a hunger to learn and work hard is an essential trait of working in the construction industry. Being keen to step up and help in all areas of the Garden Room construction process is essential. Attention to detail, working as a team and being comfortable communicating with fellow workers and ultimately clients is also something that we look for.
