Job Description

Two year apprenticeship, looking after older people in a day care setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the delivery of care for each of the service users, whilst looking at their individual support needs. Assist with a variety of daily activities. Assist with serving lunches.

Experience and Knowledge

No experience is necessary however, if you have experience of looking after a relative then this will give you added skills and this would be desirable but not essential.

Key Skills

Good written and verbal communication. Patience, caring, reliable & trustworthy

Education, Qualifications and Training

None required, however, ICT & Numeracy Core Skills are desirable.
