We are looking for someone to work towards completing the SCQF 6 Modern Apprenticeship - IT Support (Digital Technology), to learn and provide IT Support to Staff as required.
• Laptop configuration and operational issues • Microsoft Office 365 application support e.g. Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Sharepoint /Outlook/Teams • Supporting the Association’s Housing Management systems • SONICWALL Firewall configuration and troubleshooting • Providing help-desk support • ICT Inventory Administration • Setting up and amending user details • Arranging and issuing passwords and email addresses • Updating group memberships, folder permissions and VPN access • Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016/2019 administration • Open Housing administration • Document Management administration and support • Windows Domain Active Directory administration • Cisco Telephony support • Workstation configuration and installation • Support on printer issues • Administration of Mobile Device Management. • Two-Factor Authentication support • Provide cyber security support • Treat staff in a professional and courteous manner • Deal with IT enquiries both in person and by telephone • Provide general end user support in use of equipment and systems • Carry out any other duties as appropriate to the apprenticeship
As this is an entry level position the following would be desirable: • Use of email and word processing skills • Some knowledge/ experience of dealing with customers
As this is an entry level position the following is desirable: • Numerate • Proficient I.T skills and competent in the use of Microsoft Office • Good Telephone skills • Ability to work on own and part of a team • Good organisational skills • Willingness to learn • Ability to document IT procedures
The following is desirable: • SCQF Level 5 or equivalent in English, Maths
