This role is an exciting opportunity to join our service in a clerical admin role supporting Glasgow City Health & Social Care Partnership. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about working within administration and who enjoy learning new skills and potentially a long term career within our organisation.
As a Modern Apprentice, you’ll be working in a busy office environment carrying out a range of tasks including call handing and reception duties. We are looking for applicants who can deliver customer care in a professional and polite manner. If that sounds like you, why not apply?

Reception Duties
Processing of work using Microsoft Outlook and multiple record management systems including direct recording into systems
Photocopying and scanning documents
Processing incoming and outgoing mail
Taking notes at meetings
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Be able to work as part of a team
Have a positive approach to learn new skills
Reliable, hardworking and shows an enthusiastic positive manner
Good time-keeping and time management
Have good IT and organisational skills
Basic knowledge of IT systems (Microsoft Office packages) however full training and support will be provided as part of the role
The ability to produce work to a high standard, with attention to detail and accuracy.
The ability to follow instructions from your manager and other colleagues.

No qualifications required. IT and basic literacy and numeracy skills desirable.
There is no requirement for candidates to have administration experience as all training and development will be provided.
Training provided will be SVQ Level 2 in Business Administration. Therefore candidates must show commitment to achieving the qualification. Throughout the programme candidates will receive training, support and on the job experience
Some posts (dependent upon appointment) may require a PVG Adult or PVG Child. Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note – Glasgow City Council will pay the cost of this criminal record check.
