3 year modern apprenticeship. where you will work outdoors maintaining Glasgow's parks, open spaces and streets. You will be assigned placements across the city to give you a range of experience within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for Glasgow City Council.
Attend Daldowie Training Centre regularly, to achieve qualifications in Horticulture and Waste Management.
Working with experienced colleagues, learning how to use hand tools and machinery safely to maintain the grounds. Learn how to look after plants, and how to create a more sustainable city. Work in depots all over Glasgow, so you need to be prepared to travel. Use internet to upload your course work and evidence for your qualificaiton.
