Jr's Hairdressing is a bust, modern, well established hair salon on Paisley Road West in the southside of Glasgow. We currently have 6 staff members carrying out all aspects of hairdressing . We strive to be the best salon in our area and need a dynamic young person to train to be one of our top stylists,

Job Description

You will train to be an all round hairstylist with the option to choose a specialty towards the end of your training. You will be helping in all aspects of salon life including looking after clients, helping keep the salon clean and assisting the stylists.

Key Responsibilities

While training you will be expected to assist the stylists, help keep the salon clean and tidy and look after our clients. You will be required to provide models to practice your skills as well as learning new ones.

Experience and Knowledge

No experience is necessary, although welcome, but a enthusiastic approach to learning is required.

Key Skills

we do not require key skills but we do require a good work ethic, enthusiasm to learn and a pleasing personality. An outgoing personality is helpful in our industry, as you will be working 1 to 1 with clients as well as bring a good team player with the rest of the staff.

Education, Qualifications and Training

You will be trained in salon on a dedicated training day working towards your SVQ level 5. If completed in good time the option to progress to level 6 is offered. Ongoing training will also occur during the working week.
