We are recruiting for a Business Administration Modern Apprentice to work in our Customer and Business Services department to help provide a high quality and responsive support service.
We expect all our employees to provide the highest standards of customer service, as well as building up a knowledge of the service we provide and the processes required to deliver them.
The successful candidate will carry out a range of clerical and administration duties.
There will be times where you’ll need to use various IT systems and application to process requests and log information, therefore good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages are important.
As a Modern Apprentice, as well as working in your day-to-day role, you will be studying towards a Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ). During your apprenticeship you will work towards your qualification, whilst being able to apply your learning to the real life business environment. In turn, you will receive first class training, excellent conditions and experience of working in one of Glasgow’s leading employers.
Carry out day to day general clerical and administration duties including filing, photocopying, responding to emails, answering calls, input to databases ensuring all data is accurately recorded and to provide the highest standards of customer service to everyone using our services.

Customer and Business Services (CBS) provides admin support for a number of council departments, such as Financial Services, Development and Regeneration Services and the Chief Executive’s Department. This means that we have Modern Apprentices providing support services in a number of different locations across the city.

Nat 4 English is desirable
