General administrative support including, incoming and outgoing mail, processing enquiries from internal/external stakeholders via telephone, letter, email and call centre and reception duties
- Responsibility for maintaining diaries and arranging appointments.
- Data maintenance, liaising with employers, collating and providing statistical information for reporting purposes
Pension administration including processing of benefit and payroll calculations via the Altair Pensions Administration system (includes the use of a task management and document imaging systems)

The successful candidates will be based within our Customer Services Team progressing on a rotational basis to the Benefit Processing, Members Records and Liabilities and Payments teams, gaining valuable knowledge of how the Local Government Pension Scheme operates
Candidates are required to possess good oral and written communication skills. The ability to work to a strict timetable is also essential. Must be reliable, diligent, punctual and hard working

No experience is necessary however• Working knowledge of relevant computer software packages such as Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and email is desirable
