Workshop assistant - would be to carry out general duties within the workshop environment which would include fitting and changing of alloy wheels and tyres. Fixing punctures and securely packaging up sold goods for delivery.
Below is a list of the workshop duties that would be required.
Tyre changes - changing of used tyres with new. Fitting of new tyres to our selection of alloy wheels in store.
Punctures - repairing punctured tyres
Fitting of new wheels to vehicles in our workshop.
With our online sales, new alloy wheels would either be boxed up and ready for shipping or built up with tyres for postage throughout the uk.
All of the above work would be carried out with training as some of the work requires the use of machines.
Throughout this time and with progression and experience the job would then involve dealing with the public from telephone conversations and general sales from our showroom.
As the job is primarily based on alloy wheels and tyres, a general understanding of this would be beneficial. Somebody who is keen to learn and is willing to listen to instructions is very important along with being reliable and on time.

We are looking for someone who can listen to instructions and put them into practicality and learns as they go along. Able to think on their feet.
Computing skills will be important in time
No experience or knowledge is necessary as all training and guidance will be provided.
