Working within a small team, the successful candidate will be responsible for keeping products fully up to date on the company’s e-commerce website (using a content management system) and in-store, ensuring complete accuracy of existing products and the timely addition of new products to the market.
Tasks will involve but not be limited to taking, sourcing and editing images, checking pricing and pattern details and ensuring colours and all other details are listed accurately. The position will also require the candidate to manage and monitor products listed on various social media platforms, updating and adding to the catalogues, highlighting different products and ranges with social media posts, while monitoring and reporting back on competitor pricing for key ranges.
In addition to the Modern Apprentice Business qualification, the candidate will receive training and experience using Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Hubspot and internal inventory and CRM systems as well as a wide range of social media platforms.
Ensuring the accuracy of the product offering on the company's website, keeping ranges and products up to date and highlighting new ranges on social media while reporting back to management on competitors' online activities.
The candidate should possess keen attention to detail, have excellent organisational skills and be able to communicate clearly and confidently both verbally and written.
The candidate should be able to write well and creatively in order to create short and intriguing descriptions for product ranges and effective social media posts.
An ability to work independently and at their own initiative is vital as, once initial training is complete, large sections of work will be self-led and managed.
As the candidate will be working with design and colour, the ability to accurately pick out colours will be important. To progress and develop in their career, the candidate should have a willingness and desire to learn both on instruction and on their own initiative, only by doing so will the role expand and a future career with the company, after completion of the apprenticeship, transpire.
Candidates should be personable and be able to maintain a professional manner in dealing with the public.
Timekeeping and attendance are important for any applicant.
Training will be provided for any and all tasks required.

With a current staff of 4 you will be working in a small and dynamic team and will be exposed to all areas of business operations.
Located just across the River Clyde from the centre of Glasgow, Love-Rugs has easy transportation links either by foot, bike, car or public transport.
Ideally, the candidate would possess National 5 or higher in English and Maths, although this is not required.
Competence in using computers is required as much of the work is office and computer-based. A familiarity with social media (mainly Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest) would be desired.
Regardless of qualifications a good level of written English, initiative, organisational skills and excellent attention to detail are vital to the role.
No prior experience required, however, a familiarity with various social media platforms would be useful.
The candidate will undertake an SVQ 2 Business Administration as part of the apprenticeship. Start date may be flexible but should be towards the end of January 2021.
