The purpose of this role is to: - Contribute to the provision of excellent factoring service to the Association’s owners and sharing owners at first point of contact for a wide range of enquiries and issues. - Provide information and redirect enquiries as necessary from owners and sharing owners to the appropriate person within Govan Housing Association who can deal with the enquiry. - Contribute to carrying out the administration of the key services and functions of the factoring service. The holder of this role will be specifically expected to: - Provide information to owners and sharing owners contacting the Association across a wide range of enquiries directly with the customers themselves, or redirect them to the appropriate person within the organisation who can deal with the enquiry. - Contribute to dealing with factoring administration activities including, maintaining records, handling correspondence, inputting data and providing statistics. - Contribute towards providing a highly informative and helpful service, effectively dealing with customer enquiries or redirecting them to the appropriate person, in a professional and friendly manner. - Contribute with factoring arrears control and monitoring. - Commit to supporting different service areas across the organisation to increase knowledge of all aspects of the Association’s business. - Deliver on the Association’s customer service commitment by providing excellent customer service in all interaction with owners, shared owners, other customers and colleagues alike.
Contribute to processing the issue and amendment of invoices accurately and on time and contribute towards work that supports the annual review of fees and charges. - Promote a range of payment methods and services. - Process payments and update computerised records on all actions taken and information given to customers. Send out letters and mandates as required by the Factoring Assistant. - Contribute to monitoring owners’ accounts and providing administration support towards the debt recovery service. - Contribute towards proving administrative support to the -Factoring Assistant by replying to standard enquiries, maintaining databases, producing standard letters and forms, filing, photocopying, circulating information, etc.
Ability to learn and apply knowledge quickly. Good general standard of education. Experience of working as part of a team and also working independently. Word-processing packages to produce correspondence, reports, mail merge etc. Customers service skills.
