Our residential and commercial customers often need repairs done and as their appointed maintenance provider, 91BC facilitates those repairs. As a handyman, you will be able to carry out those repairs, so you will require a broad range of craftsmanship and practical skills will prove useful. The work can range from simple building maintenance to plumbing, basic electrical works, drainage and grounds maintenance.
Customer service is at the heart of 91BC’s charter. As such, the successful candidate(s) will be comfortable in front of the customer and able to answer their questions confidently. In addition, you will have. • Strong ability to resolve problems and adhere to health and safety guidelines • Ability to work harmoniously with other contractors or maintenance workers • Ability to work under pressure and with flexibility • A resourceful and self-motivated approach • Ability to work with machinery or moving heavy equipment • Able to resolve complaints quickly and efficiently • Able to work as part of a team • Good communication skills • A clean, current UK driving licence
• Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good working order • Rewiring, changing fuses, junction boxes etc. • Minor plumbing and carpentry • Site clearance • Garden/landscape installation and maintenance • Footpath maintenance • Clearing gutters
91BCPS is a registered property factor company formed in Glasgow in December 2015. It is primarily a digital agency which provides services to property owners via an online web application, which is called Community. The purpose of 91BCPS is to provide: • Maintenance services. • Emergency repairs. • Factoring and buildings management. • All trades.
The successful candidate will be experienced in maintenance capacity.
Practical skills in conducting small scale repairs is essential. Some experience in a customer-facing environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
A company vehicle will be provided. The successful applicant will have held a UK driving licence for at least 3 years.
