Job Description

As an apprentice structural technician, your role will involve the creation of technical drawings to be used on live construction projects. As structural engineers, we are responsible for coordinating with other disciplines such as Architects, and work to communicate the structural design requirement of building projects.

You will work with engineers to communicate their designs through graphic communication techniques - involving both 2D and 3D processes. As well as the role of drawing, there will be administrative tasks, and opportunities to visit construction sites to gain a greater insight in to how a project develops from the early design stage, to being built on-site.

You will be trained in-house in the skillset required to facilitate this role from highly experienced technical staff, with guidance on all aspects of the role. In addition, you will attend a day release college course, looking to gain a HND in Civil Engineering.
