We are looking for a multi-talented Soap Studio Manager & Graphic Designer to join our small, vibrant team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative, hands-on environment and is keen to take on a varied set of responsibilities. From managing our studio operations and team to crafting visually stunning designs for our brand and white-label customers, you will play a pivotal role in driving Och Vegan's growth and success.
- Studio Management & Production Assistance: Oversee the daily operations of our soap studio, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. You will also work hands-on with our team in preparing products, including bevelling, wrapping soaps, and assembling gift sets.
- Order Review & Problem Resolution: Ensure all orders are reviewed for accuracy and any issues encountered are resolved promptly, maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Strategic Development: Collaborate with the directors to create and implement development strategies that align with our brand's vision and goals.
- Graphic Design & Brand Identity: Create compelling designs and illustrations for our products and promotional materials, helping to strengthen and maintain a cohesive visual identity for our brand.
- B2B Relations & Marketing: Manage relationships with some of our B2B customers and assist in marketing efforts, including enhancing our social media presence and engagement.
- Market and Event Participation: Occasionally represent Och Vegan at markets and events, requiring availability on weekends (not more than 2 weekends a month, usually none). As an ambassador for our brand, you’ll engage with the community, share our story, and sell our products.
- Product Creation & Testing: Assist in the making of soaps and other cosmetics, becoming the first tester of new products. Your insights will help shape product development, allowing you to have a significant influence on the outcomes.
- Excellent Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: Strong knowledge of graphic design software to produce high-quality visual content.
- Great manual skills for precise product preparation and packaging.
- Able to lift heavy materials as part of the production process.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in both physical products and digital designs.
- Comfortable with computers and order management software.
- Effective at communicating with team members and customers, and adept at solving unforeseen issues. Experience in leading a team, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Training & Development: While you are expected to bring strong graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud to the role, comprehensive training in studio operations, product creation, and other specific duties will be provided to ensure your success and growth within our team.
Graphic Design Skills: A compelling portfolio of graphic design work is essential, demonstrating your creativity, skill, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud. Previous professional experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Team Collaboration: Experience in a team environment, whether in a management, supervisory role or as a collaborative team member, will be beneficial.
Interest in Eco-Friendly Products: A strong interest in cosmetics, skincare, or similar industries, particularly in natural, eco-friendly products, is important. We value candidates who share our commitment to sustainability and cruelty-free practices.
Event Participation: Experience or willingness to represent the brand at markets, trade shows, or similar events, showing your ability to engage with customers and effectively communicate our brand's values.
