The role of a Light Vehicle Technician is to maintain, service and repair vehicles to a consistently high standard. We are looking for ambitious candidates ready to take ownership of their development, work hard to achieve their potential and grow with an ambitious employer. This exciting apprenticeship programme is ideal for someone who is looking to becoming a qualified Light Vehicle Technician and who wants to develop a long term career.
Technicians are trained in all areas of vehicle mechanics and electronics, from engine and exhaust systems to air conditioning and security features.
There are two apprenticeship posts available one in Glasgow City centre and one in Glasgow South (located near Ibrox stadium)
Attending college one day per week
Carry out vehicle inspections and diagnosing faults
Carry out all types of services and repairs on vehicles
Change tyres
Assist other members of staff when required
Dealing with customer enquiries
Completing job cards and relevant paperwork
General housekeeping
Maintaining workshop standards
Work with service advisor providing information and times on jobs
Observe and learn all aspects of vehicle maintenance
Carry out diagnostic testing
Good timekeeping

We are a family run business who has been operating for over 15 years. We are one of the largest independents in Scotland seeing over 5000 cars a year and having two premises located in Glasgow. We specialise in Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi vehicles, carrying out all mechanical and electrical repairs.
Driving licence would be desirable but not essential.
Experience or knowledge on vehicles is desirable but not essential.
