We are looking to recruit someone seeking to develop a career in residential property.
The role will be based in our lettings team and you will be working directly with one of the directors of Indigo Square to gain an understanding of renting out homes to tenants and the legislation involved. You will gain an understanding of all the documentation needed to start a tenancy and interact with potential tenants.
Indigo Square believe the key to good customer service is through clear, regular correspondence with clients. These skills are essential for any customer service role and therefore this post, in addition to giving you the experience and skills necessary to have a career in property will also offer an opportunity to gain abilities that can be used in an customer facing company.
This role is based in our lettings team and the candidate will work towards obtaining qualifications in residential lettings. We are a growing business and want our team members to grow with us and obtaining this qualification will lead to a salary uplift and long term future with Indigo Square.
o Answering calls
o Dealing with telephone and email enquiries
o Organising relevant property inspections / appointments / maintenance issues.
o Liaising with contractors to organise property maintenance needs
o Providing regular written and verbal feedback to owners
A commitment to learn new skills is all we ask of any candidate.
Knowledge of residential property in Scotland would be desirable, as would an understanding of why regular communication is essential to deliver quality customer service.
The successful candidate will be diligent, punctual and hard working. A drivers license is essential and access to a car desirable.
Indigo Square are a residential lettings and property factoring business. We are a small but rapidly growing company with a team of 5 with offices in Glasgow (Battlefield) and Largs.
With a small team it is essential that the team enjoy their work and get on with colleagues. We close between Christmas and New Year and these 3 days are additional to the standard holiday entitlement - we also encourage everyone to take their birthday off and give themselves a treat!

We would expect the successful candidate to be able to demonstrate some commitment to study and completing qualifications as this role will involve obtaining qualifications that will enhance and improve their career prospects.
Whilst a candidate with office and residential property experience would be helpful, it is not essential as training will be provided. The ability to demonstrate experience of gaining new skills and operating within a team, either in a work, educational or social setting would be useful.
The role is for an initial period of 2 years and during which you will be provided with time to study for qualifications in residential property.
