Working within a day care setting for older adults or people with a learning/physical disability. Working with a team of experienced staff to support the care needs of the individuals attending day the centre. This includes going out on transport to collect service users from their homes to bring them in to the centre. Organising a variety of activities to keep everyone busy and providing snacks/lunch. You will be given a mentor to support you with learning and training will be provided to support your development, working towards your qualification.

None required at this stage as all training and development will be provided.
This is a 2 year apprenticeship. If successful at interview we are required to carry out background checks which can take some time. Until we receive PVG confirmation we are unable to start hence the reason this is usually around Sept time.
