The role of administrator & digital media assistant will suit an individual who is experienced in a range of administrative tasks and has experience of engaging with the public/customer relations. This role will be the forward facing member of staff in terms of customers interface both physically and online. In addition to working in our main building in our reception area, this position will also work alongside our management team providing administrative support. The primary purpose of this position is to create a easy form of engagement for potential learners when accessing a range of our services and learning opportunities.
To provide reception cover, acting as the first point of contact on behalf of all project and enquiries.
Interacting with the public (via email, telephone, digital media) and referring enquiries to the appropriate service/learning opportunity.
Provide administrative support to the leadership and management team (produce team meeting minutes, photocopying, filing, invoicing).
To maintain filing systems and implement administrative procedures on via our file management system.
Maintain learning opportunities/service calander publication which advertise our services to the public.
Manage and organise room bookings.
Collate time staff time sheets and records
To provide support to the finance manager with the administration of IT access (password resets, etc)
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Excellent organisation and planning skills
Create skills (designing posters, leaflets, etc)
