Job Description

We're looking for a brilliant Company Production Assistant who can support our ongoing company activities in areas such as research & development, production, post production, administrative and marketing. The successful person will work closely with the Company Director and will provide support to them at all times.
The position will suit someone with some entry level knowledge of the film & video production industry who is willing to get involved across all departments to ensure the company continues to produce high quality output on all productions.
This role will be wide and varied. It will largely involve working in our offices but some work will be required out on location and at home online.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting with general administration tasks
Managing Social media content
Assisting on live productions
Researching new ideas and development projects
Actioning preproduction tasks
Providing admin and PA support to the Company Director as required

Urbancroft Films provides a wide range of video production services all under one roof. With over fifteen years of experience in producing high quality videos for commercial clients and screen and broadcast.

Education, Qualifications and Training

This role will be based on the candidates ability to fulfil the Key responsibilities rather than formal qualifications although these should be listed in your application. Relevant training is welcome.

Experience & Knowledge

The candidate should have:

Some experience of working in the film industry
Enthusiasm for contributing to an award winning production company
Experience of working in a fast paced environment
Ability to work autonomously without constant supervision
Competent using Microsoft package, Adobe Creative Cloud package
Proficient with Apple computers/iOS
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent phone, video and written communication skills.
Some knowledge of social media platforms and content creation
Eagerness to learn and progress within the company
Previous administrative experience within a creative environment


Knowledge/experience of using of Production/Post Production equipment
Knowledge/experience of using accounting packages/software
Driving licence
