CND / Digital Print & Vinyl Operator

Key Responsibilities

CNC Operation Duties
• Setup CNC router to make sure it is safe and ready to handle its required task
• Prep & Load material into machines
• CNC cut as required by adjusting speed, cut path and material requirements
• Regularly inspects machines for mechanical and safety issues
• Examine & check product is acceptable to move onto the next part of production
• Keep a focus on safety by helping others to conduct themselves appropriately around operating machinery
• Work a flexible schedule to keep up with production demand during busy production periods
• Pays constant attention to surroundings to reduce accidents and injuries
• Works cordially with team members at each stage of production

• Education Through Apprenticeship or Technical Program, Production Experience, Computer Skills, Spatial Skills, Excellent Oral Communication, Safety Mindset, Detail-Oriented, Ability to Track Inventory, Problem-Solving Skills, Mechanical Talent, Physical Stamina
• we are seeking candidates to fill the open Digital Print & Vinyl machine operator role. Duties includes: Ensure all QC sheets are turned in for all completed jobs. Conduct monthly inventory counts. Give purchasing all material orders by 2pm daily. Computer skills – email, & graphics programs such as flexi, corel, vision Programming and Production Drawings of interior signage, Vinyl, Laser and Digital as needed Maintain all interior sign department equipment including maintenance, training, updates, back up parts, etc. Coordinate work and timing with other department areas for receiving and delivery of product and materials. Requirements: Graphics experience in sign shop and with ADA signage a plus. Good communication skills. Must be able to read and understand production drawings and decipher production notes. Experience with Laser Cutter Universal, Trotec, or others a plus. Experience with engraver machine such as (Vision) a plus. Familiarity with Interior signage, Wayfinding and signage materials such as acrylic, formica laminates, adhesives, and digital printing a plus. Must be able to stand for multiple hours at a time at a worktable. Must be able to bend, squat, reach, multiple times a day. Must be able to lift minimum 20lbs on a regular basis.
