To purchase equipment and materials in time for installations.
To keep CRM software up to date as prices fluctuate.
The ideal applicant will have knowledge of the security, fire or similar industry although specific product/industry training will be given.
Preparation of quotations for minor works.
Pricing bills of quantities for larger jobs.
Taking quantities from drawings, plans and sections.
Preparation of invoices for completed works.
Negotiation of prices and placing orders with suppliers.
Site visits to survey / assess progress.
Updating and managing CRM system.
Flexible, hardworking and committed.
Ability to work on own using drawings and supplied information.
Good communication and computer skills including excel/word, etc
Excellent customer care skills.
Professional telephone manner.
Ability to prioritise effectively.
Family owned business, established 1995, specialist installation and maintenance of electronic Fire & Security Systems. Trading from a modern south side office with parking, close to good public transport systems.
Skills in Quantity surveying/estimating would be beneficial.
Previous working knowledge in a similar environment is preferred, although not essential.
Ability to work in an open plan office.
